I've not decided yet. Pink Fir Apples again, definitely, and I want to try one of the blue fleshed varieties (even if the yield is rubbish, I get a kick out of veg I can't find anything like in the shops) Does anyone have any recommendations for these?
I'm also undecided on first earlies, I know I want some, but which to pick...
I'll probably be going to one or more potato days, and getting them there, so I should write a list to stop myself going overboard!

I've been doing a bit of reading up on Ayrshire potatoes, my Mum adores them but says that they are not the same these days. From what I can gather they are Epicure fed with seaweed so i'll be giving them a go.
I have two types that I grew from potato seed last year so i'll be planting some of those to see what I get back.
I fancy trying Pink Fir Apple too but think i'll wait till our potato day in January to make my mind up.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Picasso's my only must-have...they make the most amazing roast potatoes. This article's a potential help in choosing:

We had a MASSIVE return on Voyager this year, also good results from Piccasso, Dunluce and Setanta. Not tempting fate and will stick with these but would like a recommendation for good waxy salad spud.............................being Irish I love the more floury ones but OH English and requires something more meaty on occasion!
