I've not asked for anything but I know my OH has got me some new gloves that I've been wanting and a bottle of JD for the past 9 years or so my Farther & Mother-in-law have been sticking £100 in a card for me which is very very nice of them so we'll see... If I see a big smile on my sons face on Christmas morning that will be enough for me really.

Well, I've asked for vouchers for the local tack store, Ice Trekkers for when it's icy, autosocks for driving in snow. My Mum just puts a bit of money in my account.

However, since the in-laws seem only able to buy tat from the garden centre or Asda, I'm expecting yet another set of useless gloves, an ornament, some cat treats which I can't feed (due to the carp in them) and quite possibly another gimicky tea towel or a cheap pen with my name on it (had two already0. I hate Christmas for present buying!! Love home-made gifts or just spending time with people, but my polite smiles are wearing thin!

I've been told I can have a pair of Doobs!!!! As my 2nd hand pair are looking tatty now, and I've started riding in them because they are warm. However, I would feel guilty, as they are a stupid price, so we'll see.

        Doobs!
Update: Cancel that - just bought a semi industrial sewing machine on eBay, instead!

My OH always does me a lovely hamper with lots of treats to share that we wouldn't normally get ourselves. Although I still have a tin of octopus left from last year (but it's good till 2016, so we can build up to that one!)

Like your idea above. We are looking to remodel the kitchen and lower ground and so we are trying not to spend either! Think in most houses it will be about the children only. I have bought my mother a Country Living subscription. I have had HSL subscription. Mr VVG is getting MacUser renewed and that's it...job done all round...save the children's stuff.

Not much on our Christmas lists this year, all we want is for baby to arrive on time and in one piece (or a few days early!) and not in the middle of our Christmas dinner. I am more than happy with this year being the first year OH and i have not had 6-8 other family members to cater for / staying with us so we will be enjoying having Christmas just the two of us for the first time ever - well, hopefully three!

I wish you well with the new arrival. They come when they want to I'm afraid.

3 years ago my granddaughter arrived a week before Christmas; she wasn't due till the middle of Jan. All the Christmas prep has to be done early, so we can give her birthday the attention it deserves. Perhaps when she is older, she can have an official birthday in the summer hols.
Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are probably right.

I'd like a Kelly's Kettle for camping and the allotment. Don't think I'm gonna get it though so will save up and get it myself...eventually!

I'd like to find somewhere to live. Buy or Rent, don't mind, just within our chosen area, and within our budget.

I'd like you all to have whatever you wish for!
For myself, I just buy what I need when I need it. If I can't afford it, I don't have it.
