    Oh dear...
Love the names - especially Violet Jasper! - so went hunting and found the Baker Creek Heirloom Seed site - very dangerous!

So I now have another 8 varieties of tomato (and 7 other packs of seeds)...
oh well - more choices to make!

'Amish Paste' from the Real Seed Co is what I'd recommend. They're fairly meaty, so shouldn't fall to pieces from being fried, the plants seem pretty tough, they're heavy croppers, and the fruits make great sauce etc as well. I'm sure other people will have other opinions though

Sounds like you need a new seed hiding place?

Am trying to resist the bush tomatoes after reading this thread. I have horrible trouble with blossom end rot unless I grow the smaller varieties, so seriously tempted!

New this year for me: sweet million. Last year was my first growing them, I grew Sungold and Gardener's Delight, from seeds. GD did not do very well (very few tomatoes and didn't taste of much) - maybe due to the way I planted them, as limited space. However Sungold were brilliant! Lots, for ages, and gorgeously tasty. I was quite sad not to be able to grow them again this year but I wanted to try another variety just to see. If this one is disappointing I might get a young plant of Sungold or return to it next year as it was such an improvement on supermarket baby tomatoes.

This is the first year I have grown tomatoes on any scale. Some will stay in my garden in pots and some on my lottie with the help of Zaz's blight fighting construction.

Only 3 varieties, Money Maker, Aranyalma and Golden Grape.

I've already started Black Cherry, Rio Grande, Carlton and San Marzano (my regulars ) and Purple Cherokee, Lemon Drop, Maha Bush, Gartenpearl, and Scotland Yellow, which are new to me.
A latecomer, Black Cuban is in the post as a swap

                                I've got going...

Galena - my favorite tomato by miles, easy, reliablie and tastes beautiful
                                Tumblr for my hanging baskets
100's&1000's - never grown these, no idea what they will be like.
Stupice - never grown this either.
Dr Carolyn's pink - because its pink
Minibell - never grown this either.

Will need to put more in though, probably some gardener's delight and more galina.
