Miss Z takes the approach that you are best treating them mean and getting them out into a greenhouse is where they are best. Most of us I think are taking that advice. Have fleece ready for bad weather days maybe.
Right I shall get mine on the go as well. Once they have germinated do they need to stay in the kitchen or can they go out in the blow away?
As long as the blowaway is secure; leeks will be fine in it. Onions too. Make sure it is very firmly affixed. And I mean firm! Even though the thing may not blow away, the wind can get up it and the trays shake so they can get thrown about a bit. A coldframe low to the ground would possibly be better.
Tomatoes not so fine; they need somewhere a little more insulated.
I have sown some cauliflower seeds today. I havent tried the Lunar planting way before, but have read this thread a few times lately (well the recent posts, not from scratch!).
Its a Biodynamic flower day. One of the many things I don't understand is what makes a cauli a flower when a cabbage, left long enough will also have a flower, yet seems to be regarded as a leaf?
And I still don't know whether a strawberry is a fruit or a flower. Helllppppp!!
