Google lunar planting/growing - you will find quite a number. Depends on whether you want synodic or biodynamic. Gardeners Calendar is a UK site that you can email subscribe too/twitter feeds/facebook interface.

                    • October 19 - Synodic
Lettuce, Kale, mini -broccoli, corriander, pak choi, cabbage. Late, I know but on the basis that it's been such a strange year, it's worth a go and if they just store green over winter they will shoot off in the spring.

Probably stick some peas in on Sunday.

Apart from lettuce, germinating in the house as the last lot of carrots don't seem to want to play ball .

                          • Brillliant. Another year starts - Synodic for me, again. Where are you starting your leeks off? The house I assume - what sort of temperatures will baby leeks tollerate as I would have to tunnel them pretty quickly.

                            • Crikey March I don't know...maybe AP above ^^^ can guide. All my trays are inside as they form part of my traditional Boxing Day decorations that stay up with a bit of shuffling through to Spring. It's tomato time soon too
I do out my alliums out into my greenhouse once through and up a bit, but they are in double walled constructions.

                              • My leeks from pips were started in November (for exhibition). I think I said on another thread that leeks from seeds could be started any time now but bear in mind that growing for show means we are looking for mature leeks from August onwards. So start later if you want them as a winter veg for next year but as I recall a few folks like them throughout the year
