I've just read the whole of the thread from last year and the whole of this thread...and now feel both inspired and bewildered! I am just going to follow Biodynamic this year even though I dont understand it, and try and read some of the websites listed throughout the threads...so much to understand...and thats with trying to read my gardening books from Christmas as well....My head hurts.

I daren't as I am already sitting on two trays. One bio, one synodic. Coincidentally the synodic sown were through quicker and with better germination rate than bio, thus far.Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better...Albert Einstein

If you are following synodic then it's now. If biodynamic, you want 16th and yes leeks are root crop.Last edited by VirginVegGrower; 12-01-2012, 07:46 PM.Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better...Albert Einstein

I was just browsing the Garden Organic website looking for info about their potato day and just happened to notice they are running a one-day workshop on Biodynamics in April. Its quite expensive but thought I would let you know in case anyone was interested in it. Grow Your Garden With Biodynamics (Part 1 Introduction) - Details of forthcoming course from Garden Organic
