I am counting down the days to the 22nd. Leaf day for me...

Who is going to Ryton? We should meet up if we have a big enough gaggle...

      • Nothing sown today but I'm surrounded by seedlings of tomato, leek, banana shallot, spring onions, lettuce, spinach and beetroot. Just shuffled them off the window sills and onto the coffee table and sideboard.
Tomorrow is a one-off flower day and good for baking bread, so should that be a flour day?

Do you mean for the potato day VVG? Or something else...?

Looking at the website that Veggiechicken uses I am afraid I might be a day early for my flowers (lavender) so might try another sowing tmorrow just in case!

          • Rest easy Helgalush! VVG's Gardener's Calendar says that today is a flower day! But if you want to sow more lavender as a trial as against today's sowing.....

I was hoping to take Mr VVG in. Does it mean that only I can go in? If so we may have to do 29th. I will ask Zazen.

                      • I'm not sure, I was wondering that myself. I think we've got the family membership so me and Mr Helgalush could go, plus two children....now my Dad acts pretty childish but I'm not sure we'd get away with it....

                          • Half of my tomatoes sowed on 14/1 have germinated, I can see their little bent over shoots in the soil. The other half are not showing, but are a different variety so possibly this is why. Its all very exciting.

However my cauliflowers look like they are getting a bit leggy so have moved them to the south-east facing porch which tends to get the best of the sunlight.

                            • My spring onions (sown on a bulb day 10 days approx ago) are up. Now about 2 inches tall and no longer bent over. What do I do with them????? There are about 10 in a large pot. What lunar day do I move them on if at all or do I just leave them
