        • It's a fruit week - sow some more unless you're bio man

          • Bio man sounds like a superhero who gets your laundry really clean.

I'm not sowing anything more till the weather warms up a bit. My kitchen thinks it's a fridge. The poor seedlings are all shivering.
The problem with rounded personalities is they don't tesselate.

            • Well, I planned to transplant the remaining chilli seedlings from propagator into pots - but the compost is all frozen!
Moved spinach (some germinated) out of the propagator and sowed my tray of tomatoes - OK usually I'm biodynamic but thought I'd try these as synodic
2 seeds per module - and yes, as usual, I've done too many - so I'll have to choose nearer the time of planting out! (only space for about 15 (and ideally 12) in the GH - I tried 18 last year and it was too full...)
They are in seed compost so will need moving on fairly early I guess - will let you know re germination!

Same here, when I saw the forecast I moved the tomato seedlings up to the spare bedroom. I don't really want them to have heat, but I'd rather they stayed alive

                • My first sow of garlic went in on the 2nd (a root day by my calendar).

A trip to the garden centre today to pickup about 25 packets of seeds and some propagators, maybe overdid it, just got to find room for everything once they start growing

                  • Oh... does anyone have a link that shows what category different veggies fall into, or is it just common sense :s most are obvious, but... cauliflower? Leaves, right? It's not a root and it doesn't have seeds...

                              • VVG sorry to ask for even more but is there any chance you could put the start and finish times on at least the synodic info? I'm having to do most of my work at the weekend or fit it in late evenings and early mornings and it would really help to know exactly when the 12 hours dodgy periods at the start and end of each period are. Alternatively can you let me have a link and I'll check for myself. Thanks M

PS. I just don't have enough time to say hello to everyone as they join so please take this as a delighted to see you here!
