This is not a good time to be sowing anything in the garden. Instead use this time to weed and harvest from the garden. It is an excellent time to start building a new compost heap.

Biodynamic:
Moon in Scorpio: This is a Water sign. It is a good time to sow Leaf plants like Cabbages, Celeriac, Lettuce, etc.

Sidereal:
Moon in Scorpio: An excellent time for planting, germination and strong sturdy growth will result.

Moon in Sagittarius: Dry and barren. Good time to plant onion sets and bulbs.

I'm starting my sowing with a pot of cauliflower seeds. Conservatory very cold with a layer of snow on top so holding back on getting seeds going. Plots are clay and not dried out since last spring, did manage to get a load of manure on top ready for potatoes , but i cant walk on anything.

Synodic, so nothing today to get through any changeover effect but filled the root trainers and modules ready for tomorrow, wetted the compost and brought them inside to "warm up" overnight.

Washed the inside of the poly.

Potted on peppers...looking good. Sown main tomatoes, peas in gutter and broad beans.

Sown Cretian Broad Beans from HSL and Nellie M's Black Broad Beans today. Also planted Red Duke of York spuds into polytunnel yesterday. Potted oca up too as they were sprouting. Sturon onions into modules, to get a root hold ready for the allotment. Bit of a mix of synodic and biodynamic...oops!

Sown GYO Mag Little Gem Lettuce, Sutherland Kale and Rubine, Seven Hills and Evesham Special sprouts.
Potted on celery seedlings too.
