I bought Poundland seed potatoes last year. They were fine and gave a good yield. Remember to keep them cool and light so they form decent dark green shoots prior to planting.

the plot next to mine at the allotment was not touched at all this year so i am considering digging over a small patch and planting a few extra spuds if someone turns up before harvesting to claim the plot they will have a bonus few tatty s ,if not i get an extra supply and the chance to try a few untried variety's at not much expense whilst keeping weeds down

I've grown their Pentland Javelin for the last few years..the results were as good as from other suppliers in the first year of trying, so I've carried on

I always buy £shop seed potatoes, they're fine.

Their flowers aren't so good: "white" ones tend to come out yellow or pink
