Potato grow from supermarket

Chitted mine on egg boxes on the window sill, got them sprouting no trouble. Grew well and had a tasty crop. Have done supermarket Charlottes and Maris Piper the same way.

very interesting, I can't get away from marabell potatoes, even though I have planted and tried a few different kinds these are my faves, but I didn't think you could plant shop bought tates for some reason.
I've looked all over for marabell and can't find the seed potatoes for these.
Does anyone think I could plant the shop bought ones even though they arn't seed potatoes? Would love to have these for next year.

I've never bought a seed potato although they are disease free and have not had any problems using shop bought, apart from the moles eating them.
