You could put a piece of paper inside the packet with the seeds - then you can reuse the packets once the seeds are sown.

I use sticky labels cut from a roll of address labels and split down into three for labelling my plastic bags. Some grapes will vouch for how crooked my cutting is but at least the labels can be peeled off and the bags re-used!
