I usually get mine from Anstey or Garden Organic's Potato Day but at long last, Dobbies are selling the wonderful, beautiful, slug resistant, fast growing and huge if you leave them in the soil...Amorosa potato.

Amorosa Potatoes - 3kg - Seed Potatoes - Vegetables - Garden - Dobies of Devon

ETA: the picture does not show these in their best light - they have a lovely red skin and a creamy yellow white inside; good for roasties as well as mash, can be furtled small and also left to get to large baker size.

About time chaps; now if only Tattieman would, I could get my spuds from him and not have to worry about it.

If I could only grow one potato, this would be it.

Unfortunately Dobbies are not dobies of Devon. Tesco own Dobbies and they are not selling them.......shame coz the sound great zaz. I will search for them ooop here.

LIke the look of them zaz, no goog for me now as I would need a smaller amount and 3kg is way too much Hope they take off and then do a variety of sizes next year Thanks for heads up.

Our allotment gets it seeds for Dobies of Devon (50% off) so I'm tryin some of there seeds this year, Dobbies the rather expensive garden centre is owned by Tesco's and is not only in Devon but every bloody where...

I shall keep a eye open at our potato day on the 28th for Amorosa Zaz and try a few.

Does depend on the size of the seed but you can work on about forty.

The 2.5kg bag I bought last year had 44 spuds in, also bought a few 1kg bags which varied between 11 and 13 - I do like a bit of variety so find that 3kg is more than I want of one variety.
