This years Seedy Saturday will once again be held in St. Peter's Hall, Nott
Square, Carmarthen, SA31 1PG on 11th February from 10am - 3pm. Free entry and
refreshments available.
It is an opportunity for local gardeners and growers to get together to swap
their saved seeds and knowledge and make plans for the coming season.
As well as the seed swap table there will be lots of other sustainable products,
crafts and information from local groups.
Tools for Self Reliance Cymru will be selling their range of quality
reconditioned garden, green woodworking, carpentry and DIY tools. There will
also be a selection of Fairtrade tools made by blacksmiths in Tanzania and sold
exclusively by ourselves. Depending on current stocks these will hopefully
include draw knives, billhooks, adzes, side axes, root lifters, hand forks,
trowels and the ever-popular Shinyanga Bells.
