When I received my Heritage Seed Library membership pack it came with a free packet of Mr Fearns Purple Podded French beans. Has anyone grown these before, and if so are they a good variety for eating the whole young pod or leaving for the actual beans? Reason I ask is that I grew a climbing French bean called Eva last year with the intention of using them for the pods but because I left them to long before harvesting I ended up using Most of them for the beans instead (which were quite nice in a sausage and bean casserole
).
