Flicking through GYO back numbers I find that in January 2006, GYO set its readers a Biodynamic Gardening trial. The instructions were to plant carrots, spinach, sunflowers and courgettes on specified days which were appropriate in the Lunar calendar and to plant identical seeds from the same supply, nearby but on a different day. Gardeners were intended to compare growth rates and proved feedback to GYO.
Now I shall have to read all the subsequent magazines to find out what the results were.
