  • Got my Winstons from JBA potatoes

So excited, got my first spud delivery from jba potatoe (thanks tattieman). This is my first attempt at planting first earlies. I also order potatoe fertiliser and some onion sets.

My first go at growing potatoes was ok, i only got a handful of spuds, i got the tubers from a friend, but i really didnt know what i was doing. This time i have read books and got advice on this forum.

    So pleased.

        I'm still waiting for mine

They arrived 20th Jan last year which gave me time to get the first earlies chitted and into containers in the greenhouse by mid Feb. Come on tattieman !

Never mind - I'm sure you'll get them soon. His website does say shipping from February, so not long to wait

But I know how you want to get them going - mine are already chitting in the glass shed (not from tattieman though).

There is a backlog this week but once its cleared it looks like we are on easy street with the orders. This years wet weather has given us all sort of problem with the potatoes as there has been alot of wastage due to waterlog.

Best of luck everyone in the new growing season.

Are you able to send seed spuds to Europe? (fingers crossed)
