I've planted some gherkin seeds and got them to seedling with a couple of leaves. I was told by someone I needed to then seperate them out and put them into a slightly larger container to let them grow on a little. The problem is they seem to keep wilting now that I've done that.. What have I done wrong? None of my other plants I've done that to have wilted and I'm not sure where I might be going wrong... or maybe I should just grow them straight into the ground? Any ideas anyone?

When I pot on seedlings I always keep them in the shade for a day or so. Helps prevent wilt. Otherwise, I can't suggest anything. They might be sitting up and taking notice again by now!Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

They have been growing on a windowsill and in a coldframe greenhouse (the greenhouse is in the shade). I've seperated them out to see if it was light or shade or heat or cold. Yet they all are wilting. So i@m not sure what is going on with them. They last a couple of days perfectly ok and then they start to wilt. None of them seem to pick up after that. Thank you for trying to help. Still wish I knew what was causing it.Look not from the mind, but from the soul. For the life that is coming is already before us, waiting to open up the world.
