Growing peppers in hanging baskets

Hi

Does anyone know the name of the variety of sweet peppers you can grow in hanging baskets. Dobies are selling 3 plugs with a hanging basket for £15 but i want to do it cheaper than that. The sweet peppers that they are selling are long and thin. If someone knows the name of the variety i would be grateful.

Just checked on their website. The variety is Sweet Sunshine Trailing Sweet Pepper World Exclusive - Dobies of Devon

Just did another Google search for Sweet Sunshine and found some at this site PEPPER However, they seem to be a different plant. You might be interested in the pepper seeds though, they have a good range.

I would not personally bother. Peppers are very thirsty plants.

I dont think i will now. I have just planted out some pepper seeds in my tray and will keep them in my dining room for now. I will use the hanging basket space for my hundreds and thousands toms x
