I HAVE a woodburner in the greenhouse but only light it when I am in the greenhouse to keep me warm!

Such a good idea, thinking of getting a polytunnel but a greenhouse with a woodburner.....

Heard of an interesting if unusual "heat sink" idea this afternoon..... you put your seedlings on the greenhouse bench but under it you have a large cage with breeding rabbits! They evidently generate quite a lot of heat!

That's similar to the permaculture idea of a chicken/greenhouse where a chicken coop and greenhouse are constructed alongside each other. The chicken nestbox is built inside the greenhouse (under a bench) but accessed from outside. the hens do not have access into the greenhouse (unless you give them a pophole). The heat from the roosting hens helps to keep the greenhouse warm.
