Can't believe it ! tonight twas to be my seed sorting night. A night to get everything out from last year and get sorted. I must have had about 90 packets of seeds from last year, along with saved seeds from the plot for my beautiful scented sweetpeas and the fab pak choi which was one of the stars of last year. I've lost 4 of the big envelopes that all the seeds were in !!! I'm left with the herbs, flowers and some of the brassicas. I've had the house upside down and I've even been in the attic. They must have somehow got swept up in a clear out !

Sorry for the rant but no one here quite understands the scale of my loss, all my beautiful squash, courgettes, chillis, beans, peas, lettuces, beetroots, carrots, parsnips, onions, leeks , Kales, brocollis, ..........

I'll just have to start again, anyway I feel a bit better now

Tell people what you're missing and I'm sure plenty of grapes will help out. I have quite a few spare packets which I can send you for the cost of the postage.

Have they eloped with Heywayne's seeds?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

There is a moral in this, not so smilingshoe. Never have a clear out, because you can be darn sure that the very next day you'll need it. Maybe you can swap your asparagus peas on the VSP for something you like.

Thats a great idea about the seed swapping thanks, I've just also found a few packets of sweet peppers and some cabbages so I could try them too ! Your right about the tidying up, I've always been a complete horder, dashing around a very "well lived in home" , so much for the pre winter "clean " , I shan't be doing that again !

Thanks for your replies, I know you understand my pain

You need a special seed stash box, Smilingshoe - the fancier the better! How about one of those tool boxes that has lots of compartments?
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?
