    I don't see the point of testing the soil for veg growing. I add plenty of leafmould and compost when planting spuds to boost acidity and then I may add lime for any brassicas and try not to grow spuds on that soil the year after. Otherwise everything goes in regardless. My main focus is on soil structure by digging in or mulching with lots of compost and adding chicken pellets.

      ok so looks like i dont need to bother with the testing then.

      as for whats there now, its basically all grass and weeds tbh!
