Best netting for Brassicas?

Hi all, this seems to be the right size holes so do you recommend it? Seems to be twice as long as elsewhere but for the same price so a bargain in my eyes but will that come at a cost to quality? Will happily accept alternatives you can suggest

There is probably a 'proper' way to do it, but I'm recycling grand dad mike's net curtains: draped over recycled playing hoops. There are probably opponents and nay sayers of that, but I'm not wanting to sells half a kidney for the pricey stuff. And cabbage collars, and beer traps too.

I like the wide debris netting from ebay, you have to sow the holes up down the middle though

17mm mesh though so not good enough for deterring the cabbage whites which is the protection I am after. sorry should have been more specific in the title.

That's what I'd call Bird Netting and I pay £1.25 per 5x1 mts from our lottie shop, I use green debris netting from a local chap 50mts for £36 against butterfly's, its work a treat see photo
