Hi, I've sown my courgettes and cucumbers (Black Forest and Burpless) in the same polystyrene plant pack and the cucs have come up, but the courgettes haven't yet. The cucs are now hitting the top of the propogator! Should I remove the cucs and warm the cours up a bit more? Sorry to hijack this thread, but didn't want to start a new one on such a similar topic!

I hope they will be OK last year i used windowsill but no space this year. I need to buy more anyway as only have Defender this year and need some yellow ones for variety. Fingers crossed will be ok by time get back from work on thurs

That sounds a better way than my Polystyrene plant cells, but it was the first thing I found! As the name suggests, I only have a tiny (1.5m x 1.5m) plot in my garden, (south facing) so the cucumbers are going in amongst the roses, where the dog can't pee over them!!
