    Sarico, I take it you are thinking of feeding with a liquid feed in which case you are probably right, it will just drain through since the spuds do not need any more moisture.
    I am currently using potato fertiliser granules from £1 shop. It's similar to Growmore but darker coloured. They sit on the surface of the compost and as the rain/watering falls on them the goodness washes into the compost.

      Is ok any granule fertilizer. I can find one for potatoes but something for veg. Thanks

        Hi guys,
        Sorry to hijack the thread but I'm about to have a novice dabble into the world of potatoes, probably in one of those green growing bags as I don't have any empty compost bags lying around, or even one of those laundry bags!
        I've read to put 2-3 seeds in each bag but how many potatoes can each one produce, on average?
