I'd be eating them at the size and think myself lucky!

I'm planning to grow leeks for the first time this year so some helpful videos there.

Just wondering when I should start sowing them? I want to plant them out after my peas are finished so was just a bit wary about starting them too early. If I sow now when would they need planting out? Should I wait a few more weeks so they don't get too large before planting? I have Bleu de Solaise seeds and intend to harvest them over the winter.

There a winter/spring variety so holding back a while will not do them any harm in the long run, I've not grown them but I think you could get away with leaving them till the end of the month or even next month .

Re-sow! didn't you use all the packed up? on average the take more than a day to germinate VC 10-14 days

                    Helpfull videos currysniffa
Ive sown mine in modules tbh I haven't got a clue what I'm doing I was just going to treat them like spring onions
The final place will be a trough I reckon I'll get 4 in so going by what people are saying I should start em off in modules then split them one to a 3" pot, let that get pencil size, then in the trough?........can you direct sow when it warms next month whats the downsides?
