Brassica Net Tunnel

I am trying to create a Brassica Net Tunnel using MDPE piping and idealy i want to be able to get into it to weed. I want it to roughly be 8 foot wide 12 foot depth and 6 foot high. I was thinking of something like the below picture:



Has anyone had any experience on building a Big Brassica Tunnel and what did you use? Many Thanks

That's very big for brassicas. I've made a smaller version for my strawberries and can simply pull up the sides to do the weeding.



But for Brussels, you do need some height so I bought some tubes and connectors and netting to make a rectangular frame of about 1 metre high.

That doesn't help you much I'm afraid. Why do you want it to be so big?

I'm guessing that's the answer to why he wants it so high, as opposed to moving a smaller one every time, seems like a good idea to me - assuming there's sufficient space, though I'm sure that moving a smaller one to weed once in a while would be no problem either.

I don't move mine, I just prop it up with a bit of wood. It's made on a 2x2 frame.

Ah, good idea. I'd wrongly assumed they were all 'stabbed' into the ground. (Couldn't think of a better way to describe the method of attaching a cloche/net tunnel to the earth below)

Most are Pa but as I have 4 identical size beds, I wanted to be able to move them for rotation.

There's a lady on our allotment with a walk in brassica cage. I thought it was a walk in fruit cage, as it's full height. Each to their own. It makes sense if it's fixed and you never rotate your brassicas, but that leads to club root, which is a big no no for me. I rotate so have smaller lift off cages for that very reason.
