Yer - you are right. I don't know why I bother either. May as well chuck them in the bin.

Some of us really do care, Zaz, although it may seem that all the effort you put in is falling on stony ground. Sadly apathy reigns even amongst the most vociferous of gardeners.

I however have voted Though a summary of the nominees in the first post may help/encourage people?
So why do you think you voted? Was it because you cared about where the seeds went or was it to enter into the spirit of the idea of helping somebody out?

At least you made the effort to have an opinion even if it is only to throw a finger at the nominations list.

I've already indicated that it's a good idea to send them to worthwhile causes and have never suggested throwing anything but fail to see why people have such a problem with me not preferring cause A over cause B or vice versa. That's not apathy, if that were the case I wouldn't have made the effort to read the thread. If there were an option for "any of the above, they all look good to me" I'd have ticked it but there isn't so I haven't. A thread like this pointing people in the right direction to vote if they want to is a good idea, I hadn't seen it previously so took a look at the link. I posted that I wasn't voting and why not and stand by that as an active decision. You may disagree with that but there's no need to get militant about it. Anyway off to bed now so feel free to critise some more or not as you see fit I'm not going to get excited about it as there are FAR bigger things to be concerned about in the world.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

What's militant about agreeing with you? It's going to cost me about £20 in postage to send stuff somewhere when people can't even be bothered to read some words or press a button.

But hey - who cares? It's just some seeds and some charity groups who do growing. Meh.

Zaz- what you are doing with these donated seeds is a really lovely idea.
I'm sure if you asked any of the Grapes they'd agree that it's better to share than to waste anything.
The fact that you are spending your time and own money ( postage) shows what a thoughtful, caring person you really are.
I think I too would presume that if peeps haven't voted ( I have ) it probably indicates thy don't really mind who has them- so long as someone benefits .
They all deserve the seeds otherwise the nominators wouldn't have put their names forward

And so....I'm sure a few more peeps tick their preference over the next couple of weeks - we must just make sure we keep bumping this thread

                  Just a friendly reminder
