What type are they, Leeds Lad?

My Jalapeño's are not as big as the Cayenne's in that picture and they were all sown towards the end of February.
Tried and Tested...but the results are inconclusive

Jalapeños and California wonder I sowed this year. They are still like, 8 or so centimetres big though =/

I wouldn't worry about it then...I just measured my Jalapeños and they're 7cm tall, the Cayennes are 11cm.

Yeah, the variety does seem to be important, the super-hot ones in particular are slow. My Anaheim plant already has a few flower buds on it and is about 45cm (18") tall... it was started early-Feb. I think the crazy-hot week in March helped.

My cayennes (Chenzo) in the photo are overwintered from last year. All the rest were planted this year on the 7th Jan, and the Orange Harbanero plants have their first flowers in full bloom today.

I mostly know about tomatoes and sweet peppers, but I suggest keeping them. Grow them indoors, in a sunny window. You can still use the chillis if they don't mature and if you keep the plants over winter, you will have some the following year.

overwintering is the best way if you can do it, I overwintered all my cayenne's and they produced their first chilli about a month ago, so nice an early! and have been producing 1 chilli every other day since.

Just a little update, in the last 11 days my biggest Cayenne has grown by 12cm and now stands at 23cm tall.
