      I suppose i should probably stress that the compost was on offer, not fresh. And one bag also had gotten water in which didn't drain out and turned anaerobic and putrid. However, i was too tight (and too stupid) to use this compost as a mulch, or something else it would have been much more suited to, so the compost that is now growing this alien mould could well have come from that putrid bag. So far it's not affected any other compost filling my pots or seed trays and i have used three bags of the stuff, so i recon it may not be just the compost to blame.
