I'm sitting on my hands as I did it far too early last year ... although you are further south than sunny warrington. Hows the weather been - I've just liberated our 15ft musa basjoo from it's hat so I'm fairly sure the frost is done with here.
Had a feeling it was too early. So i'll have too wait another month.
Weather today is very sunny and warm, very little breeze and forecast same for weekend.
Guess im getting like the rest of you a bit impatient to really get going.
I've sown some experimentally because I had no beans last year, zilch, nada. I've gone back to Scarlet Emperor and put them in modules in the stayput tucked up in bubble wrap (the commodity not the person). I'll sow some more next month if they don't make it.
Is it too early to start my dwarf beans and runners?
I was going to sow them in modules and place in my blowaway until time to plant out.
Well I'm not far from you CS, and I won't be sowing mine until the end of April. I know it's tempting with the fabulous weather we're having but don't risk it!
My thermometer is still showing minimum temps of 3 and 4 in the glasshouse this week!
Lovely during the day but still blinking cold at nights, too cold for the tenders stuff yet
