got mine in and the fleece handy. Seemed a shame not to take advantage of the sunshine.

The dustbins are planted as I can bang the lid on if we get a frost. The second hand plastic water tanks are still empty as they have no lids for protection.

My first lot of earlies and second earlies went in a few weeks ago in the polytunnel but I won't be planting the rest of them or the main crops for a couple of weeks yet. Tend to always plant them well into April which seems to work well round here.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

My spuds are chitting in the greenhouse. Glad I covered them up last night though as we've had a ground frost overnight!

I was supposed to be preparing my potato beds this weekend but the ground is solid because we've had no proper rain. I'll see how I get on today but my knee is hurting so don't want to over do it.

Mine are all in pentlandite javelin, Charlotte, Desiree and cara. Not showing yet though, which looking at the forecast is a good think, will mulch with straw today just in case

planted all but a couple of Charlottes that I got from the GYO offer a week or so ago that haven't chitted yet- they will go in a patio planter anyway. The rest on the plot all went in last week- 1/2 earlies and the maincrops all together.
