They look very unusual. Never seen anything like that before.

My tree onions are looking pretty good at the mo. This is their second year. Not walking yet though, bit early for that. May have a few to give away again, when they start 'flowering'as I'm too lazy to sell them on ebay

Also if anyone knows where I can get them from and could let me know that would be great.

I have read a lot about them but can't find a supplieranywhere apart from Ebay and they want way to much money for them.

          Thanks

I got a huge clump from a little unknown nursery off the beaten track. Couldn't believe my luck. If they've survived their first winter, be happy to send you a clump?

The onion grows at the base, (it's not very big) and sometimes multiplies, but the plant also sends out bulbils from the top. It sends out a 'branch' which forms several bulbils and if you're lucky it sometimes sends another branch from that one. They're very cool

They do sound a bit of a novelty so I'ml ooking forward to mine walking.

Well, I have a few bulbils in varying sizes if anyone would like some. Postage works out at 69p as it has to go as a large letter. First come first served obviously and priority given to those who fulfill seed swap rules.
