Hopefully painting two sheds, sowing seeds, pricking out, planting spuds, putting posts in, that's if its dry, organised a site BBQ if it's dry on Monday afternoon.
If it's wet we will be sorting out the loft and putting the loft insulation up there that's been sitting in one of the spare bedroom's for a couple of years. OH doesn't know this yet.
    Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
    and ends with backache

I'm not sure she'll like that very much.
Our England is a garden, and such gardens are not made
By singing-'Oh how beautiful!" and sitting in the shade,

We are forecast snow around my area this weekend, so it will consist of covering anything I can then sitting near the fire with cups of tea

I just need to pick out all of the bits of bindweed that come with it
bindweed in the compost? eep! You are more daring than me! If i was you i'd start a good fire, get it smouldering and toss the compost on and around in and let it sit for a day or so. The heat should roast any bad boys in there!

I would normally be frantically clearing & planting ~ but weirdly I'm all up to date this year.

The lotty is well under control (do I speak too soon?). 4 years of no-dig (ish) and mulching are paying off: there's very little weeding to do and everything's in that needs to be in (onions, BBs and spuds mostly).

The school gardens are looking good: no weeding to be done there either, again the mulching and not digging are paying off in terms of reduced work.

The gh is full, the heated props are full.

I might paint the spare room

Catching up with lottie. Have spent too much time at home sorting greenhouse, propagator and decorating the house.

Four days of bliss. Fingers crossed for the weather.
Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are probably right.

I've decided to make the long weekend last 10 days. Huzzah. So lots of potting on and planting out for me then.
We won't be done this weekend - the work should take up right up to the May bank holiday - this weekend is prep for the digger and skip coming the weekend after!

Ooh, 10 days sounds nice though!

sowing some more seeds. I splashed out yesterday on another lot of root trainers, and some cheapie modules. I splashed out on more seeds last week, and went through the seed box again last night and took a good few packets out, so now it's just a question of combining the two

I will if you tell my wife.

....but for me, my wife and kiddies are going away for the week, wife wants me to go and join her over the weekend, but I may stay at home and do some more decorating (or just spend it on the plot more than likely).
