    There is one plot, that is the colebourne road Ferrari. Beautifully kept, wonderfully productive. Tenant is a dude, an elderly gentleman who spends a lot of his time there. He is the allotment Yoda, and his plot is the envy of all. He'll advise you when you ask, and only ever encourages you to have a go.

    One day I would like my ford fiesta lotment patch to be like his Ferrari.

    Another chap, lovely fella, got a butternut squash in his plot. If he can get one, I want one!

    Both of these chaps, have a go at anything. And that's what I takeaway from them. If they can have success so can I.

      What an excellent idea - I have an area of nettles I will have to cover up on our overgrown lottie. Have freecycled a bag today and will be able to make use of some of the space.

        I have had my little plot for two weeks so EVERY plot at the allotment inspires me!
