      .... and we can imagine the sort of bacteria that would be on a loo roll tube! Remember that thing about how many "germs" land on your toothbrush if its in the open air in your bathroom. I tried to forget it too!!!

        Kitchen surfaces are the worst.

        What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. And my loo rolls haven't killed me yet. Neither has my toothbrush.

          You know how I'm always banging on about watering from the bottom ~ well, not for loo rolls, those I do "from the top" (and not too much)

          Mine don't go mouldy unless I start them in autumn/winter. Spring ones are just fine, they're planted out before they start to grow mushrooms
