Hi
Is there any reason not to scatter those packets of wild flower seeds between your veg to act as mulch / encourage bees etc? Apart from the obvious one of giving up catch-crop space of course. I've got quite a few packets having naively thought I could just scatter them in the grass, but apparently they have to go into soil or they can't take hold. And it'd be a nice way to soften a new and currently rather formal looking veggie plot (bit like scuffing new trainers because they're too shiny and white?!).
