    On both sides of the cage, I have a 3' length of 2"x1" which I use to prop the cage up while I work under it. I have the same setup over my strawberry bed but the cages are only 1' high and are hinged at the back as the bed is only 2'6" wide. Again lengths of 2"x1" are placed near the beds.
