advice on planting cut and come again leaves please

hi all

i have some cut and come again selection pack of lettuce and rocket that i have just had delivered today. i am going to plant in large containers on a wall near my house. they have arrived in packs of two small plants. should i separate and plant? or plant the two plants together? and also what distance between them would i need to leave? any advice would be appreciated. thanks

I take it their plug plants? If so I would seperate them and put them in smallish pots to start with, let them grow on a bit before planting in the big container.

and then go down to your local garden center and buy a couple of pacxkets of different lettuces, and sow your own......then cut it and it will come again....

or nip into Wilkinson's or a pound shop and buy cheap packets of lettuce, rocket, beetroot, chard, herbs - mix them all together and sow in a container. Voila, mixed CACA. It's haunting me this week.
