We are holding our first flower and vegetable open show in September and I have been given 10 show leeks. They are currently sitting in my greenhouse in 9" pots. When do I plant them out and do I need a leek trench or can I just plant them like I do with my ordinary leeks. I am going to enter the show for a bit of fun and to support the community so I'm not looking to win first prize, but hey you never know I might walk away with a big smile on my face!!

) but round here show leeks are ususally planted out first week in June.
