Was looking to grow them and eat them fresh (if poss).
How many can i plant in one of them buckets?
Couldn't i just use canes rather than buy one of them obelisk?
How big do they grow? or Can they be pruned to the size i want to keep them at?
Was talking about canes, tied together like an obelisk but put the pointy side in the soil

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory....
Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.
Do I need to propagate or can they go straight into buckets?
Assuming all peas are basically the same I would suggest putting them straight into buckets, at least that's what I did about eight weeks ago in an unheated greenhouse and they seem to be doing well.
Tried and Tested...but the results are inconclusive
I love peas. Altho I do remember having sore fingers after getting peas out of the pod when I was a teenager........was an awful lot of peas that we shelled that day tho!
Some days it's hardly worth chewing through the restraints!
One bit of old folklore wisdom says to plant tomatoes when the soil is warm enough to sit on with bare buttocks. In surburban areas, use the back of your wrist. Jackie French

They can go straight into bucket but if they need support then put that in first otherwise you may damage the roots pushing it in after the peas have germinated and sprouted.
You'll need to tie the canes to something, as thy rock.
If you look close, you'll see the string keeping the canes firm to the pots. When they go out to the back garden the canes will be tied at the top to a fence or similar to stop them blowing over
Different Peas grow to different heights. Your packet should tell you how high, and also when they will crop. They will die back once the weather cools down again in autumn. But that's always assuming it warms up first! You may want to pinch out the growing tip once they reach the top of the canes.
If you LOOOOOOOOVE Peas, like I do, you'll need to grow about an acre of them, as they're so deeeelish to eat raw, that they'll never make it to the kitchen!

Do i pinch out the growing tip when they've died back or when they come back in spring?

And don't forget to keep at least some of those pods for pea-pod soup and pea-pod wine!!
