I love peas. Altho I do remember having sore fingers after getting peas out of the pod when I was a teenager........was an awful lot of peas that we shelled that day tho!Ali

You'll need to tie the canes to something, as thy rock.
If you look close, you'll see the string keeping the canes firm to the pots. When they go out to the back garden the canes will be tied at the top to a fence or similar to stop them blowing over

Different Peas grow to different heights. Your packet should tell you how high, and also when they will crop. They will die back once the weather cools down again in autumn. But that's always assuming it warms up first! You may want to pinch out the growing tip once they reach the top of the canes.
If you LOOOOOOOOVE Peas, like I do, you'll need to grow about an acre of them, as they're so deeeelish to eat raw, that they'll never make it to the kitchen!All the best - Glutton 4 Punishment
