I need to get some well rotted manure & plant my sprout seedlings soon.
Doing mine in pots and all I know is they like to be in solid compact soil.

Does anyone know what size pot is best?

    My favourite animal is steak...

Life expectancy would grow by leaps and bounds if green vegetables smelled as good as bacon.

Just moved mine from modules to pots. They'll sit on the windowsill now for a couple of weeks then they'll go into the lottie with a small piece of rhubarb under each seedling, which is meant to frighten off clubroot. Might be an old wive's tale, but I've always done it, and I've never had clubroot...might also be a complete co-incidence.
      Are y'oroight booy?

I've never done Brussels Sprouts before. You all are making it sounds like easy work if you watch the snails. I should have done it this year! Oh well, maybe next year.

          It is easy so far...
I was not planning to grow sprouts at all, but got the seeds free with the mag so chucked 3 of them in a pot outside, and this is how they look now:

          10 leaves on the biggest

Going to transplant them to a pot each I guess, as do not think this pot will be big enough for 3... lol.

they will need a bigger pot as they can grow quite large.
i grew some last year but ended pulling them as they got eaten by caterpillars as i forgot to net them

My smallest one was covered in tiny caterpillars on Friday night, and have re-potted all of them now and the one in the biggest pot is growing like mad!
