  • Tomato Help!!!

    This is the first year ive had toms in a greenhouse, and im baffled by them ive grown the plants the leaves are curling and they look like they are almost dead!

    They have plenty of light, water and ventilation but something is wrong! any one got any ideas?

      Had the same problem last year in the GH and poly. Over night temp was around 5°C during that May. They did recover and produce fruit.
      Sometimes you just have to scratch that itch and get dirt under your finger nails.

        What are they in? Pots, if so what size. I wonder if they might be a bit hungry?

          They are in bottomless pots inside a growbag...im at work at the minute so will try and take a pic later.

              ill check when i get back, its been id say over the past week or so that ive noticed it more and more some plants are like that others arnt tho its mad! tonight any ideas of cooling down if it is heat?

                  ive got several varieties in to be honest rio grande mainly though, (the labels have subsequently been lost of mixed up apart from my beef)

                  On returning home tonight they look to have perked up ive tried to add more draining in case they are too wet!

                    It's usually the heat, and then the cold, don't worry.

                      Leaf roll on toms does not necessarily mean they are diseased. Inward curling on young leaves can be taken as agood sign if they remain a nice dark green.

                      On older leaves it is as the others have said a wide variation between day/night temperatures.
