Did you not plant the hanging basket type one in a hanging basket then? As redser says but I'm guessing they look the same if they are still only tiny. I wouldn't worry too much. Just grow them on and see if they start to look different or perhaps you could phone where you bought them from and ask them which types they sell if it saves you a journey.

Welcome to the vine dedus.
A tricky first question. As you can see from the link below, there are almost 250 varieties.

Edit: As has already been suggested, if you know the names of the plants go back to the shop & check them out.Last edited by Bigmallly; 28-05-2012, 07:59 AM.sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”

Thanks for all ur suggestions. i bought the plants from seeds and the seedlings look exactly the same :S haha i think what i might do is plant them all in pots but keep them in two groups n see which group product haning ones and then plant them. may take a while but from what u lot have mentioned i think its the only way of telling.
i got the seeds from thompson & morgan one packed just says hanging strawberries and the other one says large juicy fruits. im all new to this haha.

I do like the imaginative serving suggestion on the seed packets - "Why not Strawberries and Cream".
Is that really the best they can do?

Put like that Zaz, "with cream" is quite imaginative!
Just looked at the serving suggestion for Green Windsor Broad beans : "Makes the famous Brown Windsor soup" Mmmm very helpful!Last edited by veggiechicken; 29-08-2012, 09:43 PM.
