I just noticed that yours germinated mid-April, in which case they're about 5-6 weeks behind mine, perhaps you need to just wait a little longer as mine took ages to get into their stride and only really started doing well after being put into MFB's, which was also when they went into the greenhouse.

Tried and Tested...but the results are inconclusive

Just an update. One of my plants has shown buds and one has formed into what looks like a little bud and black.brown tip of a chilli? It could be the bud of a flower but it looks black/brown. Has something happened to it and it died or do chillis appear dark when first forming?

Anyone know why my pods/ flowers are brown? They have that little curly stem bit then in the holder is a little brown/black point like a chilli or flower bud, but it is brown. Is that normal? Some of them arew white and look like flowers.

Doesnt appear dead though the stem bit is perfectly strong and green.

The flowers die then the pepper forms. Is mostly probably just a flower dying off

Where did you start your seeds off? Mine were sown and placed in the airing cupboard or in a heated propagator and germinated fine. They're lagging now of course
