Are there any plants which can be negatively affected by being in a greenhouse?

Just wondered if it was better to leave the following plants out of the greenhouse?


Lettuces
Cauliflowers
Beetroot and Radishes
Rocket
Marrow
Broad beans

I ask because I have these all in the greenhouse, the broad beans which I alluded to in an earlier post have now bene panted into my newly altered greenhouse so arent so easy to move.

I keep most of my plants inside as I see it as a slight barrier for slugs and snails and its easier and less messy, but I was concerned Lettuce in particular may find it too hot?

Any ideas?

they can all come out
none of them like and/or need high temperatures, especially the cauli, it'll bolt [from being dry though]
The marrow is basically a zucchini plant, so it can live outside given enough feed. That's the one more likely to enjoy it indoors.

As Taff said, and you'll have pollination hassles with the broadbeans and the marrows unless you play flower fairy with a paintbrush.....

I tried a courgette in the green house a couple of years ago, it grew like crazy, had to take it out of there was taking over the greenhouse, courgette is more or less same as a marrow, so my guess is they will be the same, they will crop heavily outside anyway

Growing plants in a greenhouse may seem ideal: nice and warm, no wind ...

However, you'll find that they will grow too lush, too weak and go floppy. This will encourage aphid attack, you'll have poorer germination than outdoors (outdoors is where most of the insects are), and if your gh is small it will not be properly ventilated: so you'll get botrytis too

I am preparing an outdoor section of my garden for plants so will move marrow and the rest there when completed. I seem to be constantly moving it about, hope it doesnt give up lol
