  • Stingy radishes?!

Just been pulling up some of my radishes and was surprised to get stung by a few of them 0.0
I never knew they actually grew stingers, find out something new everyday!

Their leaves can be a bit prickly/stingy

      Not strawberries, then?

The very word "Stingy" makes me feel like a kid again! I always seemed to be falling in the Stingies - and I still call nettles that - not radishes or strawberries though!

Ooo I don't grow normal radishes - only rats tail ones. They're prickly when you try to weed them out (they self seed like mad)
Was asked today if I had any seeds - not sure if it's too late to put some in - mine are all flowering lovely now.

All of my radishes when going to seed have produced 'sting' leafs !! - so its nowt to worry about

Can you still eat the leaves of these like other radish leaves?

                    Erm I don't know.
I will go and have a try!

Well I haven't keeled over yet.
Only had a little leaf though -from near the top.
