    Does anyone whats eating my radish?





    Its the second times I've pulled radish up and they've looked like this.

            Like everyone else says....slugs...they have had nibbles on mine too...sigh
            I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

                Oh yes- no probs at all. Just wash off any slime!...and scrape off the surface of the hole....you'll have no idea the little blighters have already had a nibble

                  Thats ok then

                  I have noticed that they don't go after the sparkler variety, so I might stick mainly to these in future.

                    I always find it useful to plant at least a couple of varieties- as the weather is different every year and consequently one variety may do better than another the following year.
                    Don't chuck any - that variety may do better in a drought situation for example

                        That MIGHT only be because they prefer the other kind. If you only grow Sparkler, they might decide to eat them after all
