Replacement Pumpkin Dilemma

I sowed some courgettes 2 weeks ago and they are bigger than the ones that are 6 weeks old, and in in anticipation of a new plot I'm hopefully working on, I sowed about another 200 cucurbits 2 nights ago and including about 100 pumpkins. I'd tell her the truth though - and blame it on the weather.
